Methodologies
To learn a new language is difficult if it is based on a shaky foundation. Instead of having our students to memorize words or phrases blankly; we encourage them to first understand the basic formation of Chinese and its simple grammar rules.
Over the past 30 years, HKPVS has sucessfully integrated a wide range of linguistic approaches into its teaching rogrammes and developed new and effective teaching methodologies to enhance studentsˇ¦ learning. HKPVS does not recommend spoon-feed teaching such as the memorizing of pinyin or sentence structure. After having acquired basic language knowledge, students are encouraged to further explore and participate in a series of interactive learning activities including:
